Meet Dr. Fraschetti & Dr. Sykes

Dr. Fraschetti’s practice has been limited to the diagnosis and treatment of TMD for over 35 years. In addition to TMD, Dr. Fraschetti also treats Sleep Apnea ( OSA ), Adult and Pediatric Airway Dysfunction as well as providing Orthodontics (conventional /functional) and Full Mouth Dental Reconstruction.
Dr. Fraschetti has taught and lectured extensively on TMD and NM Orthodontics for over 30 years. He is written and is published in the JOURNAL OF ANTHOLOGY, ICCMO. He has earned both Fellowship and Mastership status.
From 2001-2013, Dr. Fraschetti was President and founder of the TMD HEAD AND NECK PAIN CENTER OF MICHIGAN. After 2013, Dr. Fraschetti accepted positions at METRO IMAGING CENTER, HEARTLAND DENTAL IMPLANT INSTITUTE, as well as forming BIRMINGHAM TMD AND SLEEP AFFILIATES. All of which provide TMD/OSA diagnosis and treatment. In addition Dr. Fraschetti has a team of trained TMD physical therapists available for a multidisciplinary approach to therapy.
Dr. Fraschetti is credited with his experience and unique ability, for combining archial skeletal analysis with neuromuscular dental principles to develop and make available three Phase I systems of TMD therapy.

Dr. Stevon Sykes received his Bachelor of Science Degree in 2013 from the University of Detroit Mercy. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Michigan in 2017. In 2021, he became a diplomate of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Sykes was born and was raised in Michigan. He grew up in St. Clair county where he met his wife, Zahra. After graduating from The University of Michigan School of Dentistry, he spent four years serving in the Army Dental Corps. It was during this time in his career, where he developed a passion for dental sleep medicine. After completing his time in the Army, Dr. Sykes and his wife moved to back to the metro Detroit area and had their daughter. Outside of dentistry Dr. Sykes enjoys golf, spending time on the water with his family, and attending U of M football games.
